With a choice of 3 dining spaces overlooking the Swinton green, the dining experience is relaxed and informal, with efficient yet friendly service from our long standing team.

The Wheatsheaf kitchen consistently performs to a high standard and has been the first choice for many local diners when looking to enjoy that "special" occasion. Listed in all the main guides and consistently recognised for its great food - winner of "Best Restaurant in Scottish Borders" at the 2013 & 2014 Scottish Hotel Awards.

The restaurant’s fresh seafood comes from Eyemouth Harbour just 12 miles (19.2 km) away, and meat comes from local butchers. There is a selection of 150 wines and 48 malt whiskies to enjoy by the log fire.

We have a choice of quality accommodation available for our guests at The Wheatsheaf at Swinton. You can choose from our quality hotel bedrooms or one of our self catering cottages.

All 10 bedrooms offer superior Scottish Borders accommodation with en-suite facilities and comfort for guests to relax in. We also have 2 cottages located in Swinton both within 100 metres walking distance of the main building.
