Enjoy delightful B&B accommodation, in the peace of a beautiful Oxfordshire village, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
Our rooms retain the charm of the 16th Century building and are perfect for weekend getaways. Guests often say that a visit to us is like stepping back in time; with our low ceilings, traditional leaded windows with stunning views.
We have 6 rooms available including 5 double rooms and 1 single room. All rooms have en suite facilities and a colour television. A hospitality tray (kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits) is provided, so you can make yourself drinks during the day. You will have access to your room throughout the day but we do ask guests to check in during pub opening times.
To make your stay as relaxing as possible, we serve a full cooked breakfast and/or cereal and toast, at the civilised time of between 8am - 9.30am Monday to Friday and 9am - 10.30am Saturday & Sunday. We can make special arrangements for breakfast, if you want to make an early departure. You may check in at a time to suit you, as we are open all day.
Our superior rooms feature a flat screen TV, real cafetiere coffee and tea making facilities, Egyptian cotton bed linen and a modern en-suite shower. The superior rooms also have a comfortable seating area. Room 5 is situated over the bar area and at times the pub ghost can be seen in here (he is very friendly and just likes to walk through).
