Quintessentially British, The Stag country village pub, in the picturesque Northamptonshire area, boasts great pub food and an excellent range of real ales.

A public house has occupied this site since 1766 (it was formerly named ‘The Goat’) and has now been running for many years under the same management.

The Stag Maidwell Public House is home to a large beer garden for the summer time hosting weddings, outdoor events, BBQs and warming log burner fires are scattered throughout the garden during the winter, with themed evenings, quizzes and live music.

The pub represents a clean, warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, open seven days a week for food and drink, with ample parking facilities and free WiFi. The top bar area shows live sports events via BT Sport and terrestrial channels, well behaved dogs are also welcome in this area of the pub. Fresh coffee is always available, so if you need a meeting place during the day time pay them a visit and they can find you a quite corner.

They also offer B&B accommodation with five comfortable bedrooms providing a great base for exploring the beautiful local area. The bedrooms can be booked online via our purple button and they offer competitive rates for bed and breakfast.
