Details

The Moors Inn has been trading as a pub since the 17th Century, and provides accommodation in a choice of en-suite twin or double rooms.

There is always a friendly welcome waiting for you here, from us & our staff, and we hope you will return time and time again to see us. There’s lots to do in the local area, you’ll never run out of something new to see whether you want total peace & quiet or an active adventure!

Our food is traditional, and we aim for the highest quality, everything we serve is homemade on the premises. In season, Mike grows most of the vegetables & salad himself at our allotment nearby, and our local farmers and gamekeepers keep us supplied with Yorkshire meat. Please ask if you have any allergies or require a half portion, as most dishes can be adapted to suit.

We have 7 en-suite rooms for bed & breakfast, comprising of 5 doubles & 2 twins. All have showers, tea & coffee making, shaver points & hairdryers. Room 7 has a bath and if you prefer this room, please ask. The Moors Inn is pet friendly and dogs are welcome to stay free of charge.

Our managers who live in will look after you during your stay, whether that is for a quick drink, or a longer holiday in one of our 7 en-suite rooms. Please ask them if you have any special requirements. Local staff Tracy, Beth, Margaret, Issy & Viv, and Chef Chris Vasey are also here to make you welcome and make sure you get the best from your visit to this special area of the North York Moors
.
