The New Inn is an old Georgian coaching house dating back to the 1720's, situated on a crossroads in the centre of the picturesque village of Thornton Dale.
Our 6 letting rooms have classic country charm with solid wood furniture and exposed beams. All are en-suite and come with Freeview TV and tea & coffee making facilities. We have 1 twin, 3 doubles and 2 king size rooms, it is also possible to place an extra bed or cot in all but two of the doubles (subject to availability) to create family rooms. Full English breakfast (or a choice of other breakfast) is included in the room prices, which start at £49 for single occupancy and £79 for double occupancy.
We have on-site parking in our car park to the rear of the pub and are ideally situated to explore both Thornton Dale itself and the wider surroundings. Located in the North York Moors National Park, Thornton is a picture perfect village with a collection of pretty cottages including the iconic thatched cottage, fields and woodland, village green, a gently meandering stream and duck pond. It has a mini-supermarket, newsagent/general store, post office, pharmacy, bakery, and a whole host of local shops.

All our food is fresh and homemade, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. As well as the main menu, we serve a number of lunch and evening specials which change on a daily basis so there is always something new to tickle your taste buds.
