Set in the bustling market town of Skipton, this Timothy Taylor owned pub boasts an excellent selection of award-winning cask ales as well as a mouth-watering menu of home cooked favourites with a modern twist.

Rooms at The Woolly Sheep are stylish, elegant, spacious, and traditionally furnished and all are en-suite with a whole host of little luxuries to help you enjoy your stay. Your accommodation includes a show-stopping, hearty Yorkshire breakfast to set you up for the day. If you are celebrating a special occasion, please let the pub know so that their chefs can leave a little suprise in your room.

This pub also has a fabulous beer garden, which has recently been given lots of love and attention and there is also an outside bar serving craft beer, cocktails and cider during the Summer months.​

The Woolly Sheep is also the perfect venue for birthday dinners, Christmas parties, christenings, anniversary lunches or an informal relaxed wedding breakfast. They can seat up to 24 formally or up to 45 for drinks and canapes.

A range of shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park is just a mile away. Here guests can explore the beautiful scenery and enjoy picturesque walks. Skipton Castle, which dates back to the 11th century, is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. There is parking for residents at the rear of the pub.
