Shaun Hulls Oak Wheel Inn is a family run pub, restaurant and bed and breakfast situated 3 miles north of Scarborough and 15 miles south of Whitby, on the Coastal Road in the village of Burniston.
The Oak Wheel is a friendly local pub with a warm welcome with traditional decor. Offering a well stocked bar with a selection of cask ales, home cooked bar meals with special boards served in the bar, open log fire to enhance your comfort in the winter and patio doors lead to a undercover heated smoking area and garden with bench seating, car parking and free WiFi available.
Above the premises there are 5 en-suite bed rooms ( 1x super king, 1x king, 2x doubles and 1x twin ) with a separate residents entrance leading into the car park , so you have the freedom to come and go as you please. All rooms are en-suite with, tea/coffee making facilities, wall mounted TV with Freeview, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, radio/alarm, iPod docking, free WiFi.
At The Oak Wheel Inn they pride themselves on the quality of food we serve offering traditional home cooked meals with specials displayed on the chalk board. Fresh local produce is used were possible and the menu offers a selection of starters from soup to smoked salmon, main course dishes ranging from fresh fish and chicken dishes to our popular individual steak pie, fresh gammon and local sourced steaks, with many more choices.
Food is available Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm till 8.30pm Sunday Lunch from 12 noon till 2.00pm
