The Station Hotel is situated in the beautiful Nidderdale village of Birstwith, just 5 miles from Harrogate. Our location provides excellent access to the Yorkshire Dales, the spa town of Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and Skipton

We have five fantastic guest bedrooms which are all furnished to a very high standard with traditional oak furniture, comfortable beds and luxury en-suites. Our rooms include all the comforts you would expect - tea and coffee making facilities, iPOD/iPhone docking station, free internet access and flat screen satellite television. On the ground floor we have guest accommodation that is ideally suited for family use or for those with restricted mobility. lt has a large main bedroom with king-size bed and seating area, a second bedroom with full-size bunk beds and an en-suite "accessible" wet room. With the added benefit of our bar and restaurant and a full English breakfast to prepare you for the day we are the perfect base for holiday breaks or business trips.

The bar at The Station offers something for everyone. We have locally brewed cask ales from the likes of Black Sheep, Copper Dragon, York, Rudgate and Daleside breweries to name but a few, plus the once localTetleys. To complement our ales we offer several lagers and ciders both bottled and on draught, as well as the ever popular Guinness. We offer wine by the glass and bottle and our wine list offers superior quality wines at extremely reasonable prices. A range of spirits, malt whiskys and liqueurs complete our drinks range.

Our menu changes regularly but will always include the English pub classics, albeit with a modern gastro style twist. We pride ourselves on locally sourcing our ingredients and in summer grow a selection of herbs and vegetables on site. We cater for vegetarians and can offer gluten free alternatives for many of our dishes. lf you have any specific requests and let us know in advance we will always do our best to meet your requirements.

lf you are attending events at the Harrogate International Centre we are the perfect base for those who prefer to escape the hustle and bustle, we are just a 15 minute car journey away and have on-site car parking and free wifi. For those who enjoy walking, we are a "hop, skip and a jump" from the Nidderdale Way walking route. There are also plenty of tourist attractions within the local area such as Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and of course Betty's Tea Rooms in Harrogate.

We accept all major credit cards.  We do not accept American Express.
