The Station Hotel is a beautifully updated traditional food and real ale orientated pub in the village of Birstwith offering fantastic accommodation.
The Station Hotel is situated in the beautiful Nidderdale village of Birstwith, just 5 miles from Harrogate. The location provides excellent access to the Yorkshire Dales, the spa town of Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and Skipton
They have five fantastic guest bedrooms which are all furnished to a very high standard with traditional oak furniture, comfortable beds and luxury en-suites. The rooms include all the comforts you would expect - tea and coffee making facilities, iPOD/iPhone docking station, free internet access and flat screen satellite television.
On the ground floor they have guest accommodation that is ideally suited for family use or for those with restricted mobility. lt has a large main bedroom with king-size bed and seating area, a second bedroom with full-size bunk beds and an en-suite "accessible" wet room. With the added benefit of the bar and restaurant and a full English breakfast to prepare you for the day they are the perfect base for holiday breaks or business trips.
The bar at The Station offers something for everyone. They have locally brewed cask ales from the likes of Black Sheep, Copper Dragon, York, Rudgate and Daleside breweries to name but a few, plus the once local Tetleys. To complement the ales they offer several lagers and ciders both bottled and on draught, as well as the ever popular Guinness. They offer wine by the glass and bottle and the wine list offers superior quality wines at extremely reasonable prices. A range of spirits, malt whiskys and liqueurs complete the drinks range.
The menu changes regularly but will always include the English pub classics, albeit with a modern gastro style twist. They pride themselves on locally sourcing their ingredients and in summer grow a selection of herbs and vegetables on site. They cater for vegetarians and can offer gluten free alternatives for many of the dishes. lf you have any specific requests and let them know in advance they will always do their best to meet your requirements.

Chablis is a standard double room with an en-suite bathroom furnished with traditional solid oak furniture. The room has a king-size bed, arm chair and desk area. Malbec is a superior double room with traditional solid oak furniture and fitted with an en-suite bathroom. The room has a king-size bed, two arm chairs and a small table. There is space for an extra single put-up bed should it be required. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with a hairdryer, an iPhone docking station/alarm clock and a Freeview flat screen TV.
The Coach House has been designed as an accessibility suite or family accommodation. It has level flooring throughout and wider doors for wheelchair access. The main bedroom is large and has a seating area. It also has tea and coffee making facilities, a Freeview flat screen TV and a radio alarm clock/iPod docking station. The second bedroom has solid oak full size bunk beds. Both bedrooms have access to the en-suite wet room with a walk-in shower. Grab rails are placed in the appropriate places.
