Welcome to the Tommyfield, a modern gastro pub situated in the country’s vibrant capital. The inn offers six beautiful bedrooms on our top two floors, each with their own unique character and charm.
The Tommyfield was named after the nineteenth century market which was home to Britain’s first fish and chip shop.
Cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the on-site restaurant, and ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. Wonderful sustainable English fish, our famous steaks and old school pie and mash form the heart of our menu. Our chicken and pork is all free-range and we work with some of the best small producers the British Isles has to offer.
We have a great selection of cask, keg and bottled beers, carefully chosen and tested so you can be sure to find something to suit your drinking mood. We also have a wide selection of fine wines and handmade cocktails available at the bar.
In addition to our handsome pub and private party room we have just introduced six beautiful bedrooms. Each with their own unique character and charm, they feature either a super king or king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linen, an HD Freeview television, free wireless internet, Nespresso machine, black-out curtains or blinds, mini-fridge and safe as standard.
Located in the heart of Kennington, The Tommyfield is just a 10-minute journey to central London via tube or a 15-minute walk to the sights of London’s Southbank and the River Thames, making it an excellent location for business or pleasure.
