In the centre of historic Lancaster you will find the Toll House Inn. This stunning Inn offers the best locally sourced food, award winning cask ales and cosy characterful rooms.

The perfect spot for city breaks, located in the centre of Lancaster the inn offers informal and relaxed dining, with a hidden gem of a sheltered stone-flagged courtyard, a sun-trap in the summer.

There is a light and modern feel to the inn thanks to its impressively high ceilings. Yet the period features are very much retained and add character and charm; adding to the warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The emphasis at the Toll House Inn is very much of offering simple yet well executed food using the best Lancashire suppliers and farmers. However what really sets the inn apart from others is the imaginative choice of drinks, from the exclusively sourced wines, to seasonal cocktails and not forgetting the award winning cask ales.

The Toll House Inn offers a warm atmosphere perfect to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of busy Lancaster. It is simple, yet elegant and quirky, making it feel homely yet contemporary.

Upstairs, there are 28 uniquely shaped bedrooms, each with their own character and charm. All are impeccably decorated and offer large comfortable beds, walk-in shower and tripled glazed windows. Each of the rooms offer small details that make it a home away from home, including; complimentary WiFi in the bar area, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, large comfortable beds and complimentary toiletries.

To awake you from your slumber, there will be a hearty full English breakfast served in the morning, so you can enjoy the finest Lancashire sausages, bacon and eggs before your day exploring the historic city of Lancaster.

Children’s rates are £6 per child (up to 16 years) on a bed & breakfast basis. Prices are based on a child sharing with 2 adults. Children in their own rooms will be charged 50% of the adult rate, including breakfast.
