Inn at the Station is a lovely 150 year old Victorian railway station hotel located on a prominent corner of the beautiful and busy market town of Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Recently refurbished from top to bottom in partnership with Daniel Thwaites brewery, it has been constantly updated and improved incorporating a bar and restaurant, eight individual styled guest bedrooms, a small private meeting room and a modern stylish outside decked area for relaxing.
Simple, fresh food cooked well.Nothing complex or complicated but what you would expect in a great British pub. All the meals are homemade and freshly cooked to order, using local produce at very reasonable prices. They offer an affordable childrens menu and a changing Specials Board.
The bar has a modern and vibrant open plan design and the restaurant area houses comfortable sofas, chairs and dining tables to get cosy as a couple, spread out with family and friends or just curl up with a newspaper on your own. They proudly serve Thwaites cask ales from hand-pumps and a wide selection of well-known lagers. Cask Marque thought we were good enough and gave us an award!
They’ve got eight lovely en-suite guest rooms located on the first and second floors. Individually furnished, no two rooms are the same. Some are big and some a bit smaller, some with baths and some with showers but all equally wonderful!
