This welcoming, traditional and homely pub is nestled within an enviable position with far reaching views of Carisbrooke Castle.

The pub is open for home cooked traditional breakfasts from 8am. The new bar menu features dishes using locally sourced ingredients and tapps into popular food trends. Sunday lunch is a special day at the Waverley, served on crisp white linen tablecloths with special table service.

The pub also provides rotating ales, a fantastic wine list featuring wines from 9 different countries. Their home made cakes are delicious and there is a lovely pub garden for you to enjoy when the weather allows.  

The tastefully decorated en-suite rooms are ideal for walkers on the Tennyson Trail and cyclists enjoying the island. Your stay includes breakfast and each room has a host of facilities to make sure your visit a comfortable one.
