Set in the tranquil Herefordshire countryside, the Marshpools offers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world. The inn offers comfortable and stylish bedrooms for letting.
The Inn was originally an old thatched cottage, but has been completely rebuilt and now offers all the amenities one expects in this day and age. It is an area steeped in history, situated "off the beaten track" in a quiet location ideally based for touring the surrounding area. There are many walks to enjoy in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
The comfortable bedrooms, quietly situated away from the bar area, have panoramic views over the open countryside, are all en-suite, with complimentary toiletries, colour television, radio alarm, tea/coffee making facilities, full central heating and are non smoking.
Within the grounds, in idyllic surroundings, are two well stocked fishing pools containing carp, tench, roach and bream. There is a large beer garden and private car park. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
The picturesque village of Weobley, which is on the famous "Black and White Trail", is only one and a half miles away. The slender spire of the 14th Century church dominates the village with its abundance of timber framed houses, some of them dating from the early 1300s. The film "Unconditional Love" starring Kathy Bates and Richard Briars was filmed here.
