Details

The Saracens Head Inn has stood for centuries in a spectacular position on the east bank of the River Wye, where the river flows into a steep wooded gorge, on the edge of the Forest of Dean.

Situated in the heart of the Wye Valley between Ross on Wye and Monmouth, this family run Inn is popular with walkers, cyclists, canoeists, fishermen and fans of good food and real ales; and offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation, with most rooms overlooking the River Wye. Eat and drink in the flag-floored bar, cosy lounge or the restaurant/din

Stay overnight in Symonds Yat, Herefordshire and wake-up in the heart of The Wye Valley & The Forest of Dean with the River Wye just outside your window. Our B & B Inn is just a ten minute drive to Ross on Wye or Monmouth.

We offer great value bed & breakfasts to our guests. We have ten rooms, eight look over the River Wye. The flagstone-floored bar, with its scrubbed pine tables, has retained the feel of an authenic old English Inn. The bar is open all day everyday and offers a fine selection of classic and local real ales, ciders and quality wines, by the glass or bottle.

We serve a wide variety of dishes that change from season-to-season from our Lunch Menu, Dinner Menu and daily specials board. Sandwiches and filled organic baguettes are also served during lunchtimes.

Our chefs use fresh ingredients which are locally-sourced whenever possible. Meals can be enjoyed in our informal dining room, the lounge area, the bar or on the riverside terraces.
