Details

For great pub food and a warm New Forest welcome, come along to The Turfcutters Arms. A traditional, dog friendly pub with bed and breakfast - accommodation available in our converted thatched barn.

Our recently renovated barn is the perfect setting for our three beautiful self contained apartments with New Forest themed names of Rabbit, Horse and Squirrel! "Rabbit" caters for three people while "Squirrel" and "Horse" are designed for two.

With sparkling modern bathrooms, kitchenettes and personal patio areas these stunning rooms are the perfect getaway destination in a peaceful forest setting. Dogs are welcome in rooms (but not on the furniture).

In the New Forest, about 5 miles south of Beaulieu, our pub is situated on East Boldre High Street. More than just a pub with rooms, we are one of the few remaining traditional New Forest pubs in Hampshire and are quite famous locally for serving up some of the most outstanding food in the area at very reasonable prices.

We have roaring open fires in the winter, and a lovely pub garden for the summer.

We're proud of our real ales and homemade food is a speciality here at the Turfcutters, we have a varied and exciting menu using the freshest, seasonal and local produce that can be found here in Hampshire.

Some of our favourites include homemade pie of the day, veggie quiche of the day, home cooked chilli, homemade lasagne and our home cooked Hampshire Ham with free range eggs and chips. We also serve a wide selection of fresh baguettes and desserts, as well as a wide range of daily specials.

And don't forget about the kids! Child size portions are offered on a selection of meals from the menu. And we even cater for the four legged variety, take your dog to the bar were he will receive a tasty treat!
