The Queen's is a grade II listed building, constructed in 1863, situated in the hear of Newport offering twenty nine well equipped en-suite bedrooms.

The Queen’s Hotel is a grade II listed building, constructed in 1863, soon after Bridge Street was laid out. They have 29 individual bedrooms, including eight single rooms, four family rooms and a wheelchair-access room with en-suite shower facilities. All of the rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, bottled still and sparkling water, hairdryer and flat-screen television with Freeview. Every room has access to unlimited free WiFi. They also have irons and ironing boards, travel cots and toothbrush and shaving sets available on request. This hotel adjoins a Lloyds No.1 bar which plays music in the evening. In certain rooms, music may be heard during the evening bar hours.

They are ideally placed in the heart of the city centre, only two minutes’ walk from the main train station. Newport is surrounded by beautiful landscapes including the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the undulating Vale of Usk, famous for its salmon fishing, the Brecon Beacons National Park and Forest of Dean – both less than an hour’s drive from Newport.
