Details

The King’s Arms is a cosy country inn nestled deep within the stunning Cotswold countryside. We offer seasonal British cuisine, charming bedrooms and two self-catering cottages.

Situated in the village of Didmarton in the Cotswolds, The King’s Arms is a lovely country inn and the perfect place to relax and experience some of England’s most incredible countryside.

Built in the 17th century and owned in 1745 by the noble Beaufort family, our Grade II listed coaching inn was recently restored to bring The King’s Arms into the modern day whilst still hinting to the building’s historical past.

The Rooms

Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance, each of the bed and breakfast rooms have their own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather and Black mattresses and duvets which altogether ensure a relaxing and comfortable night’s slumber.

All rooms feature wood furniture, antique dressing tables, a flat- screen TV, a tea and coffee tray and complimentary Bramley bath and body products.

The Cottages

The two spacious self-catering cottages are ideal for families and larger parties looking for their own private Costwolds hideway. The cottages have been carefully appointed with dark wooden beams, claw-foot bathtubs and brown leather sofas.

The Restaurant

As a true countryside pub, we also serve delicious British cuisine using the best seasonal and locally sourced produce. The menu offers a wonderful range of seasonal dishes, British pub classics and daily specials are handwritten on a blackboard.

The King's Arms are proud to be part of The Epicurean Collection, a group of boutique countryside inns dedicated to the finest in British food, comfort and culture — all set in some of England's most idyllic locations.
