Details

The Lion Inn, Boreham is a stylishly decorated pub, restaurant and hotel with antiques and salvaged furniture. Good traditional pub food is served with a range of wines and real ales.

It’s all in the name! Big comfortable bed, crisp white linen and fully equipped en-suite are just a few of life’s little necessities away from home. We haven’t forgotten to add a flat screen TV, complimentary internet access with space to work as well as air conditioning you control! Tea and coffee are provided as you would expect.

A number of our rooms have balconies overlooking the guest garden whilst others have direct access to the garden via their very own terrace.

Food & Drink

Our menu is based on good pub grub that's been given a continental feel. We know you’d expect to find steak, fish & chips and a delicious shortcrust pastry pie but we also hope to tempt you with a number of ‘specials’ which change daily according to supply and season. Whatever you choose, it is freshly prepared and cooked to order - our brigade of 10 chefs awaits the pleasure of cooking for you.

The bar is pure French theatre – black bar top adorned by tall chrome taps dispensing a good selection of real ales (largely from local award winning breweries) and great quality wine on draught. If you prefer to hear the whoosh of a cork leaving the bottle, we have an impressive wine wall from which to choose.
