Situated on the A22 between Eastbourne and Uckfield, The Blacksmiths's Arms (formerly The Black Lion Inn), in Halland has a lot to offer. Originally built in 1807 as two Blacksmith's Cottages, the building was later converted into a public house and was named the, "Blacksmith's Arms" for 100 years. After many renovations & additions, it was re-named, "Black Lion Inn" but the original historic name has recently been restored by new managers, Steve and Viki, much to the delight of the local residents.

The seven room accommodation ranges from single, double en-suite & family en-suite, as well as a comfortable lounge/function room, available for lunches, evening meals, corporate & private events.

The menu incorporates firm favorites such as fish & chips, delicious "Blacksmith's" bacon & cheese burgers, hunter's chicken, rib-eye steaks (cooked to your liking), as well as daily specials which include, homemade chili con carne, soups of the day & curries. On Sundays, the traditional roasts with seasonal vegetables & Yorkshire puddings are available from 12pm - 8pm. All produce is sourced locally.

Rooms at the Blacksmith's Arms are all tastefully decorated to different schemes, with Flat Screen Freeview TV's, and the facilities you would expect to have at hand during your stay. Breakfast is included in your booking and prepared for you from 7:30am - 9:30am Mon.- Fri. & 8:30am - 10am Sat. & Sun.
