Nestled in the village of Winkton, The Fisherman's Haunt is a delightful country pub right on the edge of the New Forest and a stone's throw from the historic town of Christchurch.

Extra Bed Policy

All children under 3 stay free of charge when using an existing bed or travel cot. Children between the ages of 3 and 11 that require an additional bed will be charged at £15 per night per bed. Additional beds are available in selected rooms, please contact the hotel to confirm availability before make a reservation.

Pets

They have two 'dog friendly' rooms available. An additional charge of £10 per night per dog will be added to your account.

Food & Drink

The perfect pub for lunch or dinner, they offer a delightful menu of locally sourced, home-cooked dishes - including home-made dishes and fabulous fresh fish. Why not try something freshly smoked by Russell, their head chef or from their very own smokery? After a hearty main, you can round off your meal with one the home-made desserts or some delightful Jude's ice cream, hand-made down the road in Winchester.

As keen supporters of local food the team of chefs create dishes from the freshest seasonal locally sourced produce. The suppliers include Owls Barn Farm, in Sopley where Ron & Liz produce the fabulous bacon & breakfast sausages along with many other specialities that you will find on their blackboards. This is the best time of year to visit the area as the they have their own field of strawberries to enjoy in a Pimms or in an Eton mess.
