Details

Surrounded by Hills, Dales, beautiful Villages, historic sites and magnificent stately homes, The Peacock Bakewell has become one of Bakewell’s quality dining and luxury accommodation venues.

We have seven bedrooms each with en-suite shower facilities, washbasin and WC, tea and coffee making facilities, with digital TV, Wi-Fi access is available in the bar area. We can also offer off site luxury one bedroom studio and two bedroom cottages, decorated and furnished to the highest standards. Perfect for that romantic night or family break.

The 'Master' bedroom boasts a four-poster bed. We also have four other double bedrooms and one twin, one family room which can sleep 4 (2 doubles with adjoining door). The Master bedroom has wheelchair access.

Since the old stable conversion is a 200-year old building, each room is quite distinctive and has exposed beams and stonework, while the building itself has many charming nooks and crannies.

Food & Drink

The food served is traditional, wholesome British and Continental cuisine, with a fresh and modern approach. Alongside our seasonal menu is a blackboard menu of daily specials, complemented by local cask brewers Peak Ales and Bakewell’s own Thornbridge Brewery, Quality Wines and Continental Beers.

Alongside our seasonal menu there are always homemade daily specials available. The Peacocks' traditional Sunday lunch is an ideal opportunity to relax with friends and family. Children's menu is available everyday.
