With breathtaking views across the beautiful Lyth Valley, the Lumley Fee Bunkhouse offers Lake District accommodation with a unique window over the Lakeland hills and fells.

The Bunkhouse is perfect for a group of friends or family looking for a happy hangout, and is also ideal for couples to experience the peace and tranquility of this stunning landscape.

Whether walking, climbing, cycling or just relaxing, Lumley Fee will be an individually different experience. The creative and charming interior of this former school house will welcome you with open arms.

The Bunkhouse provides five lovely bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. Each room sleeps up to four guests. Rooms can be booked individually, or the whole house is available for group booking. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests to make hot beverages or prepare breakfast and the former School Room has been thoughtfully transformed into the perfect place to relax and unwind. It also has comfortable sofas by the log burner, books, games and much more!

Just down the road is the Wheatsheaf Inn which has been recently refurbished with considerable care and attention. The Inn is tucked away in the picturesque village of Brigsteer, three miles from the medieval market town of Kendal. It offers superb food and great real ale, the perfect place to relax before retiring to your comfortable room at the Bunkhouse.
