Situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Coniston, The Crown Inn provides friendly and comfortable accommodation to suit all needs.

Coniston is the ideal base to visit the tremendous landscape of streams and mountains including the Coniston Old Man and surrounding Lake District, we are also on the path of the Cumbrian Way and welcome all walkers. This is the ideal setting where we can offer warm, comfortable Coniston Hotel accommodation at a reasonable cost in both summer and winter months.

The Crown Inn Coniston B&B has 12 en-suite bedrooms which consist of twins, doubles family rooms and triples. All rooms are centrally heated have high quality mattresses for a good night’s sleep. They include televisions, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryers and direct dial telephones.

In the morning Breakfast is served from 8.30-9.30 in our dining room, offering guests the choice of fresh fruit, cereal and juices followed by a choice from our extensive menu varying from a hearty full English to smoked salmon and scrambled egg

The Crown Inn Coniston B&B is also pet friendly, as we have a number of rooms which allow dogs to stay for the small charge of £10 per night.

Whilst staying at The Crown Inn Coniston Hotel, all of our guests receive complimentary usage of Langdale Leisure Club, which has a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gymnasium and is just a 15 minute drive away.

 

Bar

Here at our B&B Coniston, we offer a wide selection of Robinson’s Real ale bitters which have all won Gold awards in the Casque Mark 2011 Cellar Competition, including Cumbria Way and XB. We also have a number of lagers, as well as a wide choice of spirits and malt whiskies.

On Warm Summer days we also have a large seating area where customers can enjoy a refreshing drink or meal outside the B&B Coniston.

Food

Meals, snacks and beverages are served all day in the public lounge bar, or we can offer the same menu in the adjoining dining room for a quieter atmosphere.

Our chef takes pride in his menu with well-presented food using fresh local produce. Choose from an extensive menu including homemade pies, Cumberland sausage on mash with onion gravy, or from his own dishes which change each season. Daily specials are where he uses his flair and imagination.
