The Plume is an ideal resting place to stop for drink, home cooked meal or even stay the night in one of the en-suite letting rooms.

Open all day everyday we are a friendly local offering a warm welcome to all including children and dogs on leads.

We are ideally located for the cycling enthusiasts, as the coast to coast Bike Chain Route is situated very close by. There are many country walks available to the keen walkers among you. We are very close to some of the most beautiful and historic walks, inland or coastal. The beautiful Cornish bays and coves is only a few miles from the Plume of Feathers.

The nearest beaches of Porthtowan is some 3.5 miles, Newquay is approximately 12 miles, the city of Truro is 4 miles and The coastal town, marina's and deep water port of Falmouth is just 12 miles, the sandy beaches of Perranporth is 6 miles away and St Ives is approximately 12 miles. So are many other picture painted locations. The surfers among you will be aware of the ideal beaches and excellent surf available on the north or south coasts.

Cornwall, being in the past,is of historical interest for its mining, whether it be for tin, gold or other sought after minerals, hosts many interests for the enthusiasts, ( or a family day out being activities or interests) who wish to still indulge in the temptation of panning, for tin or gold!! in more selective locations.

There are many places, very local, to the Plume of Feathers that are within easy reach.We keep a variety of leaflets to help you find the right locations for activities and interests along with seasonal events happening within our location and beyond.
