The Merrymoor offers seven 4 star rated en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, most benefiting from dramatic views of the beach and cliffs beyond.

Situated between Newquay and Padstow, it’s ideal for guests whatever their interests – families seeking a traditional beach holiday or short surfing break, walkers heading to Bedruthan Steps a few miles along the Coast Path, those who enjoy exploring caves at low tide before settling down with a book and a pint to the background rumble of a pounding Atlantic, and storm watchers.

The beachside location is equally appealing at any time of the year and four generations are testament to an outstandingly successful family run business, which has evolved without losing its commitment to great food and drink, comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices and a genuine welcome.

The Merrymoor offers seven en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, most benefiting from dramatic views of the beach and cliffs beyond. The rooms are tastefully furnished in a contemporary style and the accommodation benefits from full central heating so that you can enjoy Cornwall at its best, even during the cooler months. Wi Fi is available in all rooms.

3 night stays November to Easter from £200.

Our menu offers something for everyone from full English breakfasts, coffees, cappuccinos and muffins in the morning. Fresh baguettes from the Chough Bakery in Padstow, jacket potatoes, home made soup, our famous steak & ale pies and Sharp’s beer battered haddock, freshly made stone baked pizzas at lunchtime and Rodda’s cream tea in the afternoon.

In the evening along with the traditional pub favourites such as steak and ale pies and Sharp’s beer battered haddock and pizzas there are succulent char-grilled steaks, chicken and fresh local seafood along with delicious deserts.Sunday sees the ever popular Sunday carvery with a choice of 3 freshly roasted meats, 5 vegetables, roast potatoes and of course our own home made Yorkshire puddings.
