Open from breakfast, Steam is an ideal place to meet family and friends at any time of the year whether for a hearty Cornish breakfast before you venture into the surf, a wholesome Sunday lunch after a walk on the beach or a drink and a catch up with friends in the evening.

Whatever you want, the Steam bar can suit the mood (and the weather!) with a large garden terrace for al fresco dining, stylish contemporary restaurant and impressive bar. Which ever you choose you can be assured of attentive service, freshly prepared good food and a wide choice of drinks.

For the kids we have table football, pool table and a wonderful play area where they can go and let off steam. We have sky TV and try to show as many of the football matches as possible. For surfers there is a surfboard rack to place your surfboards in while you enjoy a drink. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the garden, and on the slate floored area of the bar restaurant.

The hotel bedrooms offer some of the best value accommodation in Newquay for relaxation, informality and comfort. The central location is perfect for a holiday in Newquay, beaches, tourist attractions, shops, restaurants and lively bars are all close by.

Parking: The hotel has very few parking spaces for residents. There is a large Pay and Display public car park on Tolcarne Road within a short walk of the hotel. Please ask at Reception when booking.

By rail: Newquay is served by a branchline which links at Par to the mainline services from Penzance to London, the Midlands and the North. In peak season, First Great Western operates direct services from London Paddington to Newquay. The Great Western Hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Newquay Station.

By air: Newquay Airport operates scheduled services to London Gatwick, London Stansted, Plymouth, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds / Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Dublin.
