Tyacks Hotel is an 18th Century coaching inn nestled in the heart of West Cornwall. Located near to Cornwall’s most spectacular beaches, we are the perfect place to stay for a family holiday.
Tyacks Hotel, Camborne, Cornwall has been welcoming guests since 1780, constructed by Philip Vincent the main section of the hotel was originally called the King`s Head, indicating it was the most important inn or hotel. Around 1900 William Tyack purchased the inn and his family held the license for nearly 100 years, changing the name to Tyacks Hotel.
We are also pet friendly and have our own resident cat, Angel who is very popular with all our customers & guests.
With so many choices and competition these day’s we have the best of both world’s here at Tyacks, a lounge bar connected to our Restaurant perfect for relaxing with a coffee after a sumptuous evening meal or cosy up in our window seats and catch the morning news over breakfast. Or alternatively we have a coach bar showing all the latest sports events and live music at the weekends.
Both bars serve St. Austell’s finest cask ales, lager and cider. A varied selection of whiskies and wines. Soft drinks, kid's drinks and a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks, along with a large choice of cocktails and shots to satisfy any night out!
If you are visiting family in the area, here on business or just here to holiday, we have everything to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. All 15 bedrooms contain a Flat Screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and everything you need for a good night's sleep.
We have a variety of rooms to offer from singles, doubles and twins. All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with flat screen television, alarm clock radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Car parking, internet access and a laundry service is also available. Unfortunately there are no ground floor bedrooms and no lifts in the building; all rooms are on the first or second floor.
