Details

The Monachty is a traditional seaside pub, situated in the beautiful town of Aberaeron in Ceredigion. The inn offers 7 well appointed en-suite bedrooms in the beautiful setting of Aberaeron.

With stunning river and harbour views from our verandah, its a particular delight to sit out on a warm Summer's evening and watch the lights twinkling and reflecting off the water. When the sun goes down, come inside and sit on the comfy leather sofas around the log fire in the lounge bar, perhaps enjoying a draught pint of Brains Bitter or Reverend James, or a warming glass of wine.

The Monachty restaurant menu changes regularly using the finest seasonal ingredients to create interesting and comforting dishes. We aim to provide unfussy, seasonal menus with regionally sourced food from responsible and trustworthy suppliers who are fundamental to our success.

As well as being an excellent food destination, we are a great place to come for a drink. By combining modern design with traditional charm, we can offer you a welcoming place to spend time throughout the year. Our extensive drinks list includes a good selection of Brains real ales, as well as premium imported lagers, spirits, a great combination of old and new world wines and even some local ones. Whether you want to relax with your favourite drink or try something new, our well-trained staff will be on hand to make sure your order is served perfectly.

With 7 well appointed en-suite hotel bedrooms The Monachty offers great accommodation in the beautiful setting of Aberaeron. We have 5 double en-suites, 2 of which overlook the picturesque harbour, 1 twin and 1 family which also overlooks the river. All our bedrooms are decorated in a modern fashion and are light and airy.
