Details

The White Hart has been a village inn since the 17th century and continues to offer warm hospitality to our locals, residents and dining guests alike.

The White Hart is ideally located for our corporate guests travelling into Peterborough, Stamford or the local area. There are also many tourist attractions for our leisure guests including Burghley House and Peterborough Cathedral.

The White Hart has ten individually styled bedrooms each with their own character. Four bedrooms are in the main building with two rooms in the converted ‘Cart Hovel’ and four in 'The Brewery'. Both the Cart Hovel rooms can be double or twin bedded rooms and one has disabled access with a converted bathroom.

Food & Drink

The menus created by our Head Chef  are seasonal using local produce wherever possible. A selection of menus are available for all guests visiting The White Hart including an à la carte menu, bar snack menu, children’s menu and Sunday lunch.

Choose from five areas where you can dine. The bar has a wide range of tables available for couples or larger parties and provides a relaxed, pub atmosphere. Many of the original beams and much of the stone work are exposed giving a traditional feel.

With old kitchen style dining tables and dining chairs in an array of style ensuring a offering a country feel, the restaurant is a little more formal in its layout. An Orangery was added to The White Hart to link the original two main parts of the building together. The Orangery offers a wonderful light, bright area for dining all year round and is ideal for larger parties of up to 40 guests.

The Pantry is the latest addition to the dining experiences at The White Hart. This room is available for restaurant dining as well as private meetings, lunches and dinners. The Patio and garden are also available for dining during the warmer months.

The Bar at The White Hart is in the most traditional part of the pub and is popular with both locals and visitors, it is known as a true ‘watering hole’. The bar has many local artefacts for guests interested in the local area and a log burner providing a cosy warmth during the winter months.

We offer three real ales, ., Aspall’s Cyder, Carlsberg, Guinness and San Miguel, Peroni and a Pilsner.
