The Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn is nestled in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe and surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys on the edge of Bath.

The Inn is recommended by the Good Hotel Guide and Alistair Sawday, as well as having a pub highlighted in both the Michelin and AA guides.

The carefully restored and enhanced annex houses 7 en suite rooms, each with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We welcome families and can provide extra beds and cots.

Menus are changed regularly and include light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden.

- Breakfast, coffee and cakes are available from 8am

- Lunch is 12pm - 2pm (3pm at weekends)

- Dinner from 6pm - 9.30pm

All dishes are prepared and cooked on the premises from local ingredients where possible.

The historic site of Bath city centre is just a 5-minute drive away. Tickets can be arranged for all Bath rugby home games from September to May. There are 7 lovely walks within the Monkton Combe valley, and narrow boating can be enjoyed on the Kennet and Avon canal which is 1 mile away.
