The Townhouse is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Stratford upon Avon, with 12 en-suite bedrooms and an elegant bar and restaurant.

It is the perfect base to soak up the history, culture and entertainment that Stratford upon Avon has to offer. The Townhouse is a 400 year old Grade 11 listed building and is located directly opposite Shakespeare's school.

The Townhouse has a bustling neighbourhood bistro which is open all day so whether you fancy a light lunch, a delicious afternoon tea, a speedy pre-theatre supper or a relaxed dinner, great food and smiley staff will be ready for you.

There are also two charming bars offering a great selection of drinks and a menu of tasty, fast bar snacks. The piano in the Blue Bar is played at 5.30pm during the week for the enjoyment of the after-work local crowd rubbing shoulders with the pre-theatre diners.

The twelve luxury en suite boutique bedrooms each offer Super King sized beds, great showers, ipod docks, TV/DVD player and WiFi.

Stay the night in one of the 12 comfy and individually designed en-suite bedrooms.

Each room varies in size and view to cover most budgets but all have:

-An en-suite bathroom with drench-shower (some with a claw-foot bathtub too) and luxury toiletries.

-A super king-sized bed.

-Wall-mounted TV/DVD player with digital Freeview (there are a selection of DVDs in reception to borrow), free WiFi and an iPod dock.

Prices start from £130 per night midweek and £165 per night at the weekend for bed and breakfast.

We only take two night bookings at weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) but if you would like to extend your stay to the Sunday night as well, we would be delighted to offer you that third night for £50 for bed and breakfast. We also offer dinner, bed and breakfast rates from Sunday to Thursday. We are always happy to do a deal if you are booking last minute and we still have rooms.
