Whitley Bay and Tynemouth are 8 miles east of the famous city of Newcastle. Also here are Cullercoats, North Shields and Wallsend - at the end of Hadrian's Wall.

Whitley Bay has a superb beach, great accommodation, excellent theatre entertainment and liva fine choice of restaurants.

There is boutique shopping alongside a majestic Benedictine Priory in the village of Tynemouth. The award-winning Longsands beach is nearby where surfing lessons are a big attraction.
