 Turton Tower is a distinctive English country house located in the small village of Turton on the edge of the popular walking area of the West Pennine Moors. Originally built by the Tudor Orrell family to defend their land, it later became a luxurious home and is now a historical house and museum open to the public.

Facilities include;

• FREE on site parking for cars and coaches
• Gift Shop
• Victorian Kitchen Tea Room
• Meeting rooms and grounds for hire
• Admittance for guide dogs and limited disabled access

Victorian Kitchen Tea Room open Wednesday to Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm

Why not make a day of it? You can visit the Historic House and explore 600 years of history, peruse the Gift Shop, stroll around the wonderful grounds and gardens. relax in the Victorian Kitchen Tea Room with a light lunch, tea/coffee and slice a cake or just a good old 'cuppa tea and sit down', the children can enjoy the great outdoors in the brilliant Woodland Playarea.
