Beale Park is home to a diverse collection of animals. Popular favourites include: Ring-tailed lemurs, wallabies, meerkats, raccoons, prairie dogs, yellow mongoose, river hogs, monkeys, goats and numerous small mammals in our Pets' Corner.
Beale Park is home to and cares for more than 120 species of birds. The Park has one of the UK’s largest owlerys, a walk-through aviary and bird hide, and is involved in numerous conservation projects dedicated to the protection and breeding of rare and endangered species.
Junior Keeper Sessions
Beale Park has a limited series of 'Junior Keeper Experience Sessions', giving youngsters (10-17yrs) a unique chance to see behind the scenes and to meet the animals as they get up close and personal!
