Some of the best walks include:
- Forest Fawr Circular Walk. Distance: 2.5 km and is barrier free. The surface has a mix of compacted stone and firm earth paths and therefore, appropriate footwear is advised. Be aware that the route includes some steep to moderate gradients that may not be suitable for all users.
- Tongwynlais-Wenallt Circular Walk. Distance: 5km. This route includes some steep to moderate gradients that may not be suitable for all users.
- St. Fagan’s Circular Walk. Distance 3km. Users should also note that the northern point of this route involves walking on a roadside verge.
- Pentyrch-Creigau Circular Walk. Distance: 4.16km. The walk includes some steep hills, a wooden stile, kissing gates and some steps. Sections of the walk are also along the highway and there are two roads to cross and care should be taken at these points.
