A trip to Northamptonshire is not complete without a visit to Kirby Hall, one of England’s greatest Elizabethan houses. Take a walk around the great halls enjoying the elaborate cutwork design. If you’re after somewhere even more peaceful Coton Manor is the ideal location, this 17th century manor house and gardens constructed from Northamptonshire stone provides a tranquil setting to relax with flowing streams, fountains and ponds scattered across the beautiful gardens. With a range of other historic sites such as Canons Ashby and Althorp House there is plenty to keep you busy in Northamptonshire.

Along with a range of historic attractions there is a range of attractions for all the family to keep the children entertained whilst you’re away in Northamptonshire. With one of Europe’s longest zip wires Wicksteed Park houses 147 acres of beautiful rolling parkland for you and your family to enjoy. Lastly, the most famous of all the attractions in Northamptonshire is the Silverstone race track host of the British Grand Prix with events running all year long is a great place to visit for a day out with the family.
