Home of the Peak District

Like the West Midlands, the East has a wealth of attractions just waiting to be discovered. The region is made up of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottingham and is home to the breathtaking Peak District National Park. 

If you are looking to escape the monotony of everyday life for a few days then a trip to the Peak District in Derbyshire is a must. It is the place to go if you are a keen walker as there’s plenty of walking trails to explore including the long distance Pennine Way and the Derwent Valley Heritage Way. However, if you just want to walk for a few miles don’t worry, there are miles and miles of footpaths that pass through the national park allowing you to tailor make your own Peak District experience.
