Apart from the option to choose on price, we will over the coming months build a star rating system based on customer feedback. After checking out you will receive via e-mail, a customer survey which will only take a few minutes to complete. We want to know whether your stay was enjoyable and if it represented value for money. Such feedback is invaluable for the pub, ourselves and future customers.
We have also used the opportunity on each pub page to show any guide listings it has and awards won. These awards include:

Visit England Ratings and Awards
|VisitEngland awards ratings for exactly the same criteria as other national assessment bodies such as the AA. "The Awards recognise businesses that incorporate best practice throughout their operation and also celebrate the very best in quality and innovation, helping to raise standards across the industry and secure England's place as a world-class holiday destination."
|Pubs that serve consistently good cask ale can gain the Cask Marque award. These pubs are inspected twice a year by qualified assessors, mostly brewers who check up to six cask ales on the bar for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
A list of the 9000+ pubs that are Cask Marque accredited can be found here or on the free CaskFinder app.
